Allyson Felix was born on November 18th, 1985 is an American track and field player representing the U.S. in dozens of athletic events, including the Olympics, World Championships, World Indoor Championships, and the Diamond League. Over the course of her career, she has won 21 gold as well as silver medals. Additionally, she holds three bronze. Felix has a specialization in sprinting, which she started playing while in ninth grade. She is among the most decorated female athlete in track and field history and has become an active advocate for a variety of reasons in recent years. Allyson Michel Felix was born 18 November 1985, in Los Angeles. Paul Felix was ordained as a minister through the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. Her mother Marlean Felix was a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was an athlete from an early age. Her talent in sprinting started to show when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within just 10 weeks of her first attempt, Felix finished second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters.
