Meredith Salenger
Salenger has a family in Malibu. She enjoyed performing for her family and friends when she was a young child. When she was eight, when she was enrolled by her mother for her first acting school. The actress played the role in the film as "a singing and dancing orphan" in John Huston's feature film Annie. Salenger is also part of several commercials for television. Salenger made her debut as a lead part for the lead role in The Journey of Natty Gann, which was a Disney film that featured John Cusack with Ray Wise. It was the very first US film to be awarded the Gold Award from the Moscow Film Festival. It also won her "Best actress in a Drama" at the Youth in Film Awards for her portrayal of the tomboyish Natty Gann. In addition, she appeared in four films before she turned aged 18. One of these is A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. After that, she enrolled to Harvard for further education.
