Yael is an Australian living in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael earned a bachelor's qualification from NIDA. Yael despite her youthful age, has had the opportunity to learn from one of Australia's best storytellers. Yael's professional career is thriving throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael made New York City her home after the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced this critically-acclaimed show. Yael was co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery promotes creative creativity, writing and artistic endeavors from the Bushwick studio.
